Our descendants have lived along the Baltic Sea for thousands of years, often lighting bonfires to give signs to their neighbours and sailors on sea.  Every year on the last Saturday of August thousands of people all over Estonia get to the seashores to light a candle, torch or bonfire in memory of the ancient tradition.
