Audio Guide in Kumu Art Museum

c kumuAll art lovers have now the opportunity to make acquaintance with the permanent exhibition of Estonian art in Kumu Art Museum with the help of audio guide.
The system of audio guides offers an opportunity to have a profound overview of 80 masterpieces of Estonian art.

In the sound clip the Estonia of the period of completion of the work is described, the imagery is interpreted and an overview of the colourful life and creation of the artist is provided. Moreover, the user of audio guide can select the works for examination at his or her discretion. The recorded texts can be repeated, wound forward and back, as well as make pauses or stopped.

Audio guides are available in Estonian, Russian, English and Finnish. The audio guide programme lasts approximately three hours. The daily rental fee is 50 kroons plus the entrance fee. Audio guide can be rented from the ticket office of Kumu and the price does not depend on the time of use of the device.

Audio guides to be used in Kumu and the studio equipment required for the recording of the respective materials is a part of the cultural aid received from the Japanese Empire delivered to the Estonian Museum of Art in 2007.
