Textiles for public spaces

Estonian Art Academy textile design students and lecturers present experimental outdoor textiles at the courtyard of Estonian Applied Art and Design Museum from June 15 onwards. For the past two years the courtyard has been home to seats designed by Keha3 company called “headless chicken”. This year will see the addition of experimental textile seats “Punu” and one shade “Lohe”.

Experiments have taken place at local companies; MISTRA-AUTEX dealing with carpets and textile for cars, plastic goods producer PUR-Estonia and Lipuvabrik an expert on digital prints.

Access to the courtyard is free. Entrance to the museum is free with Tallinn Card
