From slum to architecture09.07.2012
Museum of Estonian Architecture introduces Tallinn’s wooden architecture through this newly opened exhibition.
Tallinn's wooden architecture has significantly changed in the recent decades. Areas once considered as run down stagnating slums are now highly sought after tranquil living spaces. Views of the former slums in contrast with those of modern new builds and those of renovated houses show the potential of wooden houses in different eras.
The exhibition is open until September 15.
Visiting the museum with Tallinn Card is free of charge. Entrance fee on spot is 3 Euros.
