SEB Tallinn Marathon
Time: September 7 - 8 Starting point: Vabaduse väljak (Freedom square) The biggest sport event in the Baltics has already captured interest from other countries; participants from over 20 countries have already registered. Very many great cities have panoramic marathons. Tallinn is a small city but it is still has rich and distinctive sights – the Old Town, the City Wall with its towers, Freedom Square and the green parks and promenades. Tallinn has been described as Medieval town with a modern twist, it has one of the best preserved old towns in Northern Europe. It is exactly this combination of "old" and "new" that the course of Tallinn Marathon will take. Possible distances are: 42,2 km, 21,1 km run, 10 km run or walking as well as children’s competitions.
