If your goal is to unwind, de-stress and relax while on holiday, you’ve come to the right city – Tallinn has quite a lot to offer in the way of both sporty and slow-paced entertainment. 

For a leisurely introduction to the city, take the Hop-On Hop-Off city tour, which uses a double-decker London route bus to let you explore Tallinn at your own pace. Anyone with a tiny bit more energy can get some fresh air and exercise by going on City Bike’s 2-hour bicycle tour. It covers the downtown area and all major beauty spots. Another option is a guided tour of Tallinn's harbours and bay on the old-fashioned Kajsamoor gaff schooner, an excellent way to see the city and hear fascinating stories about its seafaring past.

Next rent a boat for a quiet, romantic row along the Pirita River, take a stroll through Tallinn’s beautiful, extensive Botanic Garden, visit Tallinn Zoo, or go for a swim or a steam at one of the city’s health spas. In winter, you can also relax with a gentle glide around the outdoor Harju Ice Rink, located right in Old Town.  

The FK Centre and Viimsi go-karting track provide more adrenaline-filled fun, while a kayaking tour on Tallinn Bay is a great option for adventure-oriented visitors of any age. If bowling and billiards are more your speed, visit the downtown Ku:lsa:l for a round or two. After a bit of shopping, you’ll probably want to sit down and fill your belly in one of the city’s excellent restaurants and cafés. And finally, you can end your stress-free day by dancing until dawn in Tallinn’s most popular nightspot, Club Hollywood.
