The 1980s-era TV tower is Estonia's tallest building as well as a high-tech attraction boasting much more than just great views.
Visitors to the 314-metre tower can start the visit with a 3D film about the tower. They'll also get to enjoy an interactive exhibition on the greatest achievements of Estonians through the ages and a fascinating overview of the history of the tower itself before heading up to the viewing platform and café at the 170 metre level – the highest in the country. Here a special panorama programme magnifies the view by a factor of ten. Visitors can also record video greetings in the tower’s television studio and broadcast them globally.
The landmark building plays host to concerts, performances, exhibitions and open air events at various times throughout the year.
For an additional fee, daring visitors can try the “Walking On The Edge” attraction at the top of the viewing platform. Weather permitting, there is also a rappelling option.
The Tallinn Botanic Garden is located right next to the TV tower and a combined visit to these two popular attractions promises to be a fun, full day out for the whole family.
Visiting the TV Tower with Tallinn Card is free of charge and the card provides priority admission.
