Towers, hidden tunnels and mighty City Wall

25.04.2014

Once upon a time, raiders would come from the sea and attack the city.
The people of Tallinn built defensive mighty walls, to man the walls they built an intricate structure of towers and hidden tunnels.

Today, a lot of that structure is still around and part of it is open to the public. These, along with hands-on, interactive museums are the best way of finding out what it was like to live in the Middle Ages.

Knights in armour and damsels in pretty gowns, defenders under cannon fire and explorers - you are all welcome to create your own fairy tales in the tunnels and on the walls of Tallinn!
While making a list of places to visit do not forget that using Tallinn Card may save you a fortune!
