Tallinn’s bars and pubs are where locals go to unwind, meet friends and generally socialise. Most establishments are located in and around Tallinn’s compact Old Town, so instead of picking a specific destination, visitors can peek into several venues, many of which are just metres apart, to see which has the most interesting crowds and music. If you're looking to sample the Estonian brew, your choices in most pubs are Saku and A. Le Coq, the two major brands that dominate the nation's market. A half-litre usually runs between 2.5 – 3.2 EUR.
